Job summary

Vonachen Group, a full-service facility maintenance leader, is hiring an Industrial Cleaner in Topeka, KS. This role supports production by performing cleaning, recycling, and materials-handling duties across the facility on rotating shifts.

The position offers $17.50 per hour with full benefits and daily pay options. You must be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, and be capable of following written and verbal instructions while wearing required PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong safety focus and PPE compliance.
• Good communication and team-first mindset.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuums to keep production floors clean and safe.
• Handle collection, transport, and disposal of waste and recyclables per protocol.
• Operate baler and compactor for recycling cardboard and plastics.
• Assist with mixing areas and safely handle raw materials as needed.
• Perform environmental tasks, spill response, and chemical handling support.
• Conduct equipment checks, basic maintenance, and report issues.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in production and warehouse areas.
• Support additional plant operations and safety initiatives.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
