Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum of five years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience.
• Experience with industrial facilities (refining, petrochemical, energy, or manufacturing).
• Experience designing reinforced-concrete foundations and structural-steel systems for industrial applications.
• Experience with site development, grading, drainage, and earthwork design.
• Experience with applying codes and standards, including API specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil and structural designs, calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and construction documents.
• Design reinforced-concrete foundations for equipment, vessels, tanks, pipe racks, structures, buildings, and packaged systems.
• Design structural-steel framing, platforms, pipe supports, access structures, stairs, ladders, handrails, and other industrial structures.
• Perform structural analysis and design for gravity, wind, seismic, equipment, piping, thermal, vibration loads.
• Coordinate design loads and interface points with mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and vendors.
• Review vendor deliverables and submittals for compliance with project requirements.
