Job summary

Avtec Finishing is seeking a Chemical Maintenance Technician to sustain production chemistry, filtration systems, and related processes across our metal finishing operation in Minnesota. You will support wastewater treatment and hazardous waste operations while coordinating with the Chemical Lab Manager and production teams to maintain processes within specification.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial chemical environments preferred.
• Ability to follow written procedures and chemical formulas.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production chemistry and filtration systems per instructions.
• Perform batch treatments and inventory management.
• Receive, store, label, and handle incoming chemicals safely.
• Ensure proper records and compliance with safety/environmental procedures.
