Job Description

Norco, Inc. is currently offering a signing bonus of $1,500.00 for this position. Details of the signing bonus can be discussed during the interview. (Applies to full-time direct new hires only)

We are seeking an individual to fill our Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver position. The primary responsibility is to deliver and exchange full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones. The role also involves delivering freight to customers on a weekly route. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Loading and unloading freight and cylinders on the truck
• Accurately filling out truck manifest forms and gas invoices
• Delivering freight and gas cylinders to customers
• Taking basic orders from customers when needed
• Adhering to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules
• Performing other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

• Class B license with Hazardous Material endorsement and an excellent driving record
• Preferably, 1 year of verifiable city delivery experience
• No at-fault accidents or DOT moving violations in the past 3 years
• Basic understanding of welding machines and related tools
• Ability to drive and back tractor-trailer combinations
• Manual dexterity skills for tasks like writing invoices, handling small cylinders, and using hand trucks
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing over 100 lbs
• Knowledge of hauling hazardous materials
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good organizational skills
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned or needed
