Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks a Class A or B CDL Operator to perform safe execution of jobs across all services lines. You will operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, oversee safety policies, and ensure compliance with DOT and client requirements.

Ideal candidates have CDL A/B, high school diploma, and experience with vacuum trucks; TWIC may be required. This role supports field operations, with potential crew supervision and travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Class A or B CDL license required.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• TWIC may be required.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck and hydroblasting equipment.
• English proficiency to understand safety training and emergency instructions.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer.
• Hands-on operation vacuum equipment and hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate special equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Operate pumping and cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment on the job.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections, driver’s logs and comply with DOT requirements.
• May direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
• Transport equipment and personnel to client locations.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
