Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to join a safety-focused team and execute jobs across services lines. Duties include operating vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, following safety protocols, and potentially directing a small crew on client sites.

Requirements include CDL Class A or B, HAZMAT preferred, TWIC may be required, and experience with vacuum trucks. This role offers full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required to operate company vehicles.
• English language proficiency for safety communications.
• Valid driver's license and company driving policy compliance.
• Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device.
• TWIC may be required for certain sites.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck.
• Working knowledge of wet/dry vacuums.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment per client specs.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Transport equipment and crew as needed.
• Complete pre/post trip inspections and DOT compliance.
• May supervise a crew of vacuum technicians.
• Perform routine field maintenance.
