Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to join our safety-minded team. You will perform hands-on operations across services lines, supervise a small crew, and ensure work at client sites meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

This role supports field jobs nationwide, requires strong safety awareness, valid CDL, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class A or B CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Knowledge of safety policies and emergency procedures.
• Ability to operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Experience with DOT requirements and DVIR logs.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
• TWIC may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety representative for client and company policies.
• Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment.
• Run Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Operate and energize pumping and cleaning equipment.
• Inspect surfaces for conformance to specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
• Transport equipment and personnel between locations.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections and logs.
• Load/unload hoses and unload at dump sites.
• Provide field maintenance and other duties as assigned.
