Job summary

HPC-Industrial in Robinson, Illinois, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A Driver Operator to join a safety‑driven team. You will supervise and execute single‑task jobs across services and help manage turnarounds at client sites with oversight from management.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to DOT rules, and the ability to operate vacuum and pumping equipment. High school diploma and Class A license with HAZMAT/Tanker endorsements preferred; strong safety mindset required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• CDL Class A license required with HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Ability to understand safety training and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions
• Operate pumping equipment and vacuum trucks used on the job
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians when needed
• Transport equipment and personnel to customer locations
• Complete pre and post trip inspections and driver logs in compliance with DOT
• Load and unload hoses
• Unload vacuum truck at dump site
• Provide general field maintenance
• Perform other related duties as assigned
