Job summary

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to join our safety-conscious team in Hammond, IN. The role involves the safe execution of HPC Industrial jobs across service lines, supervising single-task jobs, and completing turnarounds with management oversight at client sites.

You will operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, perform pre/post inspections, and ensure DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B required; HazMat/Tanker endorsements preferred.
• English proficiency to follow safety instructions and respond to emergencies.
• TWIC may be required for certain sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for safety policies and customer requirements.
• Hands-on operation of vacuum and hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate Ultra High-Pressure pumps and other special equipment.
• Operate equipment by energizing pumping equipment and related tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment used on the job.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections and maintain logs per DOT.
• May direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
• Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
