Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years journeyman level experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• TWIC Card & TWIC Pin # required.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment.
• Applicants must be legally able to work in the United States; Austin Industrial does not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or building plans to determine layout and materials.
• Cut materials to measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, safe site.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding and ramps.
• Repair or replace damaged parts using hand tools.
• Maintain records and present progress reports.
• Place and finish concrete and fabricate reinforcing bars.
• Operate a forklift and move equipment as needed.
• Replace doors and walls and build stairs as required.
