Job summary

Turner Industries Group in Kingsport, TN seeks skilled Carpenters to construct, erect, install and repair wood and metal structures in industrial settings. Experience 1–4 years preferred; NCCER may be required at some sites. Safety and compliance with policy are emphasized.

You will read blueprints, prepare layouts, and work with hand and power tools to build frames, formwork and fixtures. This role demands physical stamina and adherence to site safety standards with opportunities across Turner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• NCCER certification may be required at some job sites.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and safety policy acceptance are required.
• Must comply with safety requirements and not pose a health risk to others.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches or structural plans to determine material needs and layouts.
• Erect framework, install formwork and fixtures, and build stairs and partitions.
• Fabricate and install components per drawings and plans; prepare concrete formwork as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site and work with various materials.
