Job summary

Micone in Sparks, NV is seeking a skilled Boiler Technician to service, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install commercial and industrial boilers, burners, and related equipment. The role requires hands-on boiler experience and strong electrical troubleshooting skills.

You will work with customers and team members, follow safety procedures, and participate in on-call rotations. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with technical training preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of boiler service and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with commercial/industrial boilers, burners, pumps, and water heaters.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting from 12 VDC to 480 VAC.
• Experience with combustion setup, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Instrument calibration and control systems experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or trade-school education in a relevant field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Ability to meet the physical demands and pre‑employment requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and install boiler systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving boilers, burners, pumps, water heaters, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and components ranging from 12 VDC to 480 VAC.
• Perform combustion setup, analysis, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Inspect and maintain boiler controls, electrical components, and related systems.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and recommend effective repair solutions.
• Perform instrument calibration and controls-related work as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding equipment issues, repairs, and service recommendations.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and company standards while performing service work.
