Job summary
Alsco Uniforms in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems. The role includes start-up/shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boiler operation, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics, reporting to the Chief Engineer.
Successful candidate will need to obtain international boiler cert within the first year.
Qualifications
- Two years maintenance engineering experience with machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler applications.
- Strong reading of electrical schematics and ability to test and adjust equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment and related systems.
- Troubleshoots electrical issues and minimizes downtime.
- Responds to daily maintenance requests and provides emergency repairs as needed.
- Maintains records of maintenance performed and follows safety procedures.
- Reads blueprints and manuals to determine proper operation of machinery.
