Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems in California is seeking a Boiler Technician to follow preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, test and repair boiler controls and system components.

This role maintains daily boiler operations, performs PMs, tests safeties, and conducts annual tuning and inspections. Candidates should have a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling, 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience, ability for emergency call-outs, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling completed.
• 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
• Available for emergency call outs.
• Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and staff.
• Rule 1415 certified.
• EMS experience with Staefa/Siemens is a plus.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and related equipment.
• Conduct monthly testing of all safety systems.
• Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
• Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.
