Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, a leading mechanical contracting firm, seeks an Industrial Boiler Technician to service boiler and burner systems for commercial and industrial clients. You will diagnose, repair, and install with a focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency, collaborating with SSP Account Executives and the Service Coordination team to exceed expectations.

The role requires union membership or willingness to join, travel across WA/OR, and applicable boiler and low-voltage

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with boiler systems (high/low pressure steam, hot water, fire-tube/water-tube/condensing).
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 50+ pounds.
• Current union membership or willingness to join Local Union.
• Willingness to travel throughout Washington and Oregon.
• Washington and/or Oregon boiler licenses, or ability to obtain.
• Washington and/or Oregon low-voltage licenses, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation for boiler and burner systems for commercial/industrial customers.
• Consult with customers on service issues and recommend effective solutions to keep systems safe and efficient.
• Collaborate with SSP Account Executives, Service Coordination, and Foreperson to exceed customer expectations.
• Guide customers through technical issues and solutions, building trust and clear communication.
• Execute with distinction, delivering quality work and maintaining safety standards so everyone goes home safely.
