Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical boiler operation certification preferred.
• Valid boiler operator license or certification as required by state/local regulations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating industrial boilers.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, steam generation, and thermal energy management.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, and RO systems.
• Maintain logs of boiler performance and safety checks.
• Ensure compliance with IDEM standards and environmental regulations.
• Train new staff on steam-plant safety protocols.
