Evonik Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a Boiler Operator to safely operate high-pressure boilers and monitor water treatment systems. You will start up and shut down boilers, record performance data, and perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure reliable plant operations.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and adherence to PPE and environmental safety standards in an outdoor industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing setting or relevant boiler plant work.
• Broad exposure to boiler operations including fuel sources.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of boiler equipment.
• Computer/Microsoft Office skills and lab equipment familiarity.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers, start/stop as needed.
• Monitor performance, adjust controls for safe operation, log data.
• Inspect boilers, perform lubrication and troubleshooting.
• Maintain boiler room, manage fuel, chemicals, and safety compliance.
• Operate well water systems, water treatment, RO, and fire protection.
