Tasks include standing, reclining (lying on back), kneeling, walking, twisting, reaching, and using feet to repair and operate machinery. Employees occasionally sit, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, and crawl. Work requires continuous use of hands and fingers for handling, operating controls, and computer equipment. Vision requirements include near vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Listening, speaking, and writing skills are required to communicate with customers and the service office. The work environment may involve loud noises, extreme cold or heat, vibration, mists, dust, odors, gases, and moving machinery or parts. Personal protective equipment such as hard hats, steel‑toe safety shoes, and safety glasses must be worn when appropriate.
