Job summary

East Penn Mfg. in Berks County & Lehigh Valley seeks an Industrial Battery Service Technician to service customers’ batteries and charging systems. You will travel daily to customer sites with a company vehicle, addressing mechanical and electrical needs and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Starting hourly wage between $24.00 - $26.00, pay determined by experience. Must reside in Greater Berks County or Lehigh Valley area with willingness for occasional overtime and regional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background and ability to read schematics.
• Customer-focused mindset with good communication skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and service industrial batteries, chargers and related equipment at customer sites.
• Travel daily to customer locations within Eastern Pennsylvania.
• Diagnose issues, perform on-site repairs, and document the fleet by type and repairs.
• Maintain safety, hygiene and high-quality workmanship.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance managers and sales staff.
