Job summary

East Penn Mfg., a world class leader in lead-acid battery manufacturing, has an Industrial Service Technician opening at our Murfreesboro, TN facility. The role requires daily travel within the Nashville, TN territory to serve customers and a company service vehicle will be provided for visits and restocking parts.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, good communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid electrical knowledge, AC/DC preferred.
• Familiarity with 240V and 480V three-phase systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service industrial batteries and chargers at customer sites.
• Travel daily within the Nashville, TN territory; weekly to Murfreesboro for parts restock.
• Report to Service Manager from Murfreesboro, TN.
• Create and maintain service documentation and reports.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
