Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to provide routine maintenance support in a highly automated environment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and electrical equipment and assist with repair across the plant.

The role requires trade school certification and 5+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience, including PLCs (Allen Bradley) and FANUC systems.

Qualifications

• Trade school certification.
• Industrial maintenance experience in heavy automated environment.
• 5 years of mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• 5 years of electrical or electronic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Allen Bradley PLC experience.
• Experience with FANUC systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.
• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot & repair electrical, electronic systems, control and components of industrial machines, tools, and production/utility equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, PLCs and external I/O devices.
