Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Controls and Repair Specialist to oversee installation, programming, troubleshooting, and repair of our automated manufacturing machinery and facility control systems. In this role you will be the primary technical expert ensuring production lines run efficiently with safe electrical and mechanical controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years as a maintenance technician or controls specialist in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong NEC standards knowledge and industrial safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, NFPA 70E).
• Proficient with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PC-based diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control system failures.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Execute scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on automated machinery.
• Calibrate sensors and control loops; interpret blueprints and P&IDs.
• Design, install, and commission new automated control systems and upgrades.
• Maintain logs of maintenance activities and CMMS entries.
