Job summary

Productive Resources LLC is seeking an Industrial Control Technician to join our engineering team at our customer’s facility in Stoughton, WI. The role focuses on maintaining and improving automation and control systems with emphasis on safety and reliability while supporting PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting.

The position is full-time, with potential for professional growth and internal opportunities within our organization, including exposure to a variety of equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Automation, Robotics, Controls, Electrical, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in automation, robotics, or industrial controls.
• NFPA 70E Certification (Required).
• OSHA Certification (Preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Willingness to learn advanced automation, control, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and improvement of industrial automation and controls systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems operating from 5 VAC up to 600 VAC.
• Assist with PLC and HMI program creation and modification.
• Coordinate with OEM and trade contractors to ensure safe and correct work.
• Support CMMS usage, maintenance inventory tracking, and database updates.
• Maintain documentation for electrical and controls systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, OEE, and productivity.
