Lifetime Products in Mascot, TN is seeking an Automation and Controls Technician to maintain and improve large-scale manufacturing automation, robotics, and PLC/HMI systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment to keep production safe and efficient.

The role requires hands-on experience with Fanuc robots, Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI systems, and industrial networking. You will work with engineering and maintenance teams, perform preventive maintenance, and support continuous

Qualificações

• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in robotics, automation, controls, electrical technology, mechatronics, or related field.
• Two to four years of experience in industrial automation, automated systems, or robotics.
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI modification; familiarity with Beckhoff, B&R, and Allen-Bradley platforms.
• Hands-on experience with robotics, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and control documentation; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Keep automation systems, robotic cells, and equipment running safely and efficiently.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, calibration, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, sensors, and networks to minimize downtime.
• Support start-up, commissioning, integration, and optimization projects with engineering and production teams.
• Program, modify, back up, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems, especially Beckhoff and Allen-Bradley.
• Maintain and repair Fanuc robots and robotic pick-and-place systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings to identify root causes and repair faults.
• Work in industrial networking to support robot/PLC/HMI communication.
• Respond to urgent issues with on-call support and possible travel.
• Identify opportunities to improve uptime, reliability, and product quality.
