Job summary
Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Industrial Automation Technician for Brown Deer, WI. You will lead Diagnostics, PLC programming, and SCADA integration on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
The role focuses on upgrading control systems for custom floor machinery, with a 1st shift and on-site work in the Greater Milwaukee area. Associates degree and 5+ years' experience required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 5+ years in automation controls, system integration, or senior electro-mechanical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000/Logix) and Siemens (TIA Portal) hardware and networks.
Responsibilities
- Lead system diagnostics and advanced troubleshooting for PLC networks and high-speed drive systems.
- Perform PLC programming modifications and logic upgrades in Allen-Bradley and Siemens suites.
- Implement and optimize SCADA solutions for real-time data and plant-wide monitoring.
- Lead control system design upgrades for custom machinery on the floor.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team during capital equipment installations.
- Maintain safety and 5S standards and participate in on-call rotation.
