Job summary
Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Automation & Controls Engineer for a direct-hire role in Brown Deer, WI. The position focuses on PLC/HMI programming for Allen-Bradley and Siemens, SCADA optimization, and seamless integration of high-speed automation lines.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation, 3+ years with Studio 5000/RSLogix and TI A Portal, and hold an Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Tech. Day 1 healthcare is included with a premier green-tech manufacturer.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in automation controls or electro-mechanical maintenance in continuous manufacturing.
- 3+ years writing/diagnosing Allen-Bradley and Siemens logic with PLC/HMI.
- 3+ years working with AC/DC drives, VFDs, servos, and hydraulic circuits.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex control networks and high-speed drive systems to optimize uptime.
- Perform PLC and HMI programming edits in Studio 5000/RSLogix and Siemens TI A Portal.
- Refine SCADA for real-time data, tracking, and predictive maintenance.
- Lead system upgrades and capital asset deployment with cross-functional teams.
- Interpret electrical schematics and topology diagrams up to 480V to resolve issues.
- Support wiring, network integration, and machine positioning during installs.
