Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Automation Specialist to troubleshoot, service, and repair computerized systems and robotic equipment that support safe, reliable manufacturing.

You will follow safety rules, perform advanced PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley and Siemens), calibrate controls, update prints, mentor technicians, and collaborate on capital projects with engineering. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electro-mechanical, industrial automation, or journeyman with E&I.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Proficient with hand tools, multi-meters, computers; PLC experience (Allen Bradley/Siemens).
• Experience with plant utilities software (Wonderware/i-Vu) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service and repair automated systems and robotics.
• Follow safety rules, escalate safety concerns as needed.
• Troubleshoot PLC and drive platforms; mentor technicians.
• Calibrate process controls and sensors; adjust PID systems.
• Design and implement automation improvements; update electrical prints.
• Support after-hours maintenance as required; participate in capital projects.
