Job summary

E80 Group is seeking a CS Software Engineer in Chicago, IL to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of software for automated material handling and logistics systems. You will work across the software lifecycle in an industrial automation environment, applying C# and SQL to live customer operations.

The role requires up to 75% travel, a degree in Computer Science or related field, and a proactive mindset to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, SQL, and related technologies.
Support software implementation, testing, and deployment for industrial automation systems.
Modify, customize, and enhance existing software solutions in live customer operations.
Troubleshoot software issues and implement fixes or performance improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams and customer service to resolve technical issues.
Contribute to software simulations, testing, and system validation.
