Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team delivering applications interfacing with industrial equipment and data analytics. You will work on PLC-based systems, SQL Server databases, and cloud/on-premise integrations in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Experience interfacing with industrial equipment, machinery, or PLC-based systems.
Strong Microsoft SQL Server expertise.
Proficiency in C# and/or VB.NET.
Experience with SSIS and Entity Framework.
Skilled in debugging performance and latency.
Experience with Git.
Familiarity with AWS and cloud/on-premise integrations.
Experience with Jira and Confluence in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Develop applications that interface with industrial equipment using PLC frameworks.
Build and maintain applications with C# and/or VB.NET.
Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Develop and optimize stored procedures, views, and complex SQL queries.
Work with SSIS and Entity Framework.
Troubleshoot performance, timing, and latency issues.
Build, deploy, and maintain applications using Git, Octopus Deploy, and TeamCity.
Support applications across AWS and on-premise environments.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to improve systems.
