Job summary

Rexel USA in Santa Clara, CA seeks an Industrial Automation Sales Manager to drive the Automation business across the region with current customers and new wins. You will lead a sales team, engage with senior decision makers, and manage the CRM-based funnel to ensure profitable growth.

The role requires 5+ years in direct sales within electrical distribution, preferably in automation, and a strong background in building strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategy in assigned region to grow Automation business
• Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team for profitable growth

• Maintain CRM-driven funnel management and reporting
• Support commercial leadership with supplier initiatives and growth plans
• Drive new growth sectors like Information Software, Process Automation, IIoT
• Understand customer challenges across OEMs, End Users, and system integrators
• Promote digital adoption with team and customers
• Review and present contractual purchase order requirements to legal teams
• Foster a best-in-class, inclusive workplace culture
• Address performance issues and celebrate successes
• Monitor market and competitor intelligence and act on insights
• Oversee Net Promoter Score initiatives and customer success
