Job summary

You will interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications, prepare detailed quotes and proposals, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, or industrial automation.
• Experience in technical sales or applications engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Proficient with Excel for costing/estimating and with Office suite.
• Experience with AutoCAD for layout review and minor edits.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Experience preparing quotes, proposals, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Interpret drawings, layouts, and specs to develop accurate proposals.
• Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Work with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Utilize AutoCAD for layout review and minor edits.
• Maintain accurate records using Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines and customer expectations.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to customers and internal teams.
