Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in technical / general computer science, training as an IT specialist in application development or comparable qualification.

Position Summary:MINDA Industrieanlagen GmbH is a globally active family-owned company in the field of mechanical and plant engineering. We develop, produce and distribute specific intralogistics solutions for the corrugated board and solid wood industry. As one of the industry leaders, we are looking for a committed and motivated computer scientist / software developer for our North America location.

Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt

Reports To:Electrical Engineering Manager

• Customer support of the control systems used for control in intralogistics
• Error analysis of process logics and web-based visualizations in existing systems
• Supporting our development department in quality assurance and adaptation of our software
• The ideal job candidate must be available to perform job duties as required during normal business hours with occasional overtime.
• The candidate must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment as necessary to comply with government and company safety standards whenever engineered methods of reducing hazard or physical requirements cannot be reasonably accommodated.
• This job includes tasks that require sitting, walking, standing, bending, twisting, gripping, stair/ladder climbing, entering confined spaces, and occasionally lifting.
• Periodic travel (domestic and international) for customer site visits, trade show events, and/or intra-company site visits is required.
