Job summary

Rehmann is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Specialist to develop new business, support existing customers, and drive sales growth across the Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky territory.

This role blends technical expertise with consultative selling to identify customer needs, recommend industrial automation and control solutions, and manage opportunities from initial contact through project completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial, technical, or engineering-related sales experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, automation, controls, process heating, sensors, or related industrial technologies.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasional Toledo training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new and existing customer relationships within the assigned territory.
• Identify customer needs and recommend industrial automation, process heating, sensing, control, and safety solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, application reviews, and sales presentations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and supplier representatives to develop customer solutions.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasting and reporting.
• Participate in supplier training and continuously expand product knowledge.
