Job summary

GrayMatter is seeking a Project Manager to lead all facets of project management for the GrayMatter Services team. You will be the main client contact, responsible for budgets, schedules, resources, and scope adherence to deliver successful outcomes and maintain margins.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management, a background in engineering, and experience with MES, automation projects, SCADA, HMI, and PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management with full lifecycle MES implementations.
• Experience managing automation/control system projects is required.
• Strong knowledge with estimating systems and MS Project/GANTT charts.
• Experience as an Engineer with industrial automation projects and services is required.
• Experience with SCADA, Instrumentation, Controls, HMI and PLC projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution in line with scope and deliverables.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and manage customer scope expectations.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets and change orders.
• Allocate resources and forecast project financial and resource needs.
• Enter and review data in the project management system including budget reviews and timecards.
• Collaborate with project leads to break down work and ensure successful execution.
