Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment with automation tech.
• Extensive knowledge of steel manufacturing methods and heavy mill machinery.
• Experience in scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, finishing, shipping/warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and production using automation tech.
• Develop and implement standards, structures, systems, and equipment.
• Coordinate improvement activities with Superintendent, Supervisors and staff.
• Train and coach employees in automation technologies and processes.
