Metric Search is partnering with an established industrial automation business to recruit an experienced Outside Sales Representative. The role requires developing a territory, acquiring new customers, and expanding relationships within industrial manufacturers, OEMs, and related markets.

You will drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, existing account development, and competitive conversions across pneumatic, motion control, and industrial automation solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Proven outside sales experience within industrial automation, pneumatics, fluid power or related technical products.
• Strong understanding of pneumatic components, motion control, fluid control or electrical automation applications.
• Demonstrated success developing new business and growing existing customer accounts.
• Experience selling into industrial manufacturers, OEMs, machine builders or similar customers.
• Ability to engage confidently with technical stakeholders and understand customer applications.
• Strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to territory development.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling regularly throughout an assigned territory.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin and growth targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across industrial manufacturing, OEMs and related markets.
• Grow existing accounts through cross-selling, application development and increased product penetration.
• Identify opportunities to convert customers from competing automation and pneumatic suppliers.
• Build strong relationships with engineering, maintenance, operations and purchasing decision-makers.
• Provide consultative technical sales support, recommending solutions that improve customer productivity, reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, applications and customer service teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and customer visits through quotations, negotiation and closing.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and customer activity through CRM systems.
