Job summary

Encore Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 0–3 years of engineering design experience to contribute to mechanical system design of industrial automation equipment. You will apply engineering principles to develop and optimize designs, perform calculations, and support prototype fabrication and testing.

You will document results clearly, participate in project planning, and present updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of engineering design experience with converting equipment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use design software for problem-solving and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical system design of industrial automation equipment.
• Provide hands-on problem-solving to drive design improvements based on data.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis per project requirements.
• Support prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Document and communicate engineering results clearly for knowledge transfer.
• Participate in project planning, reviews, and scheduling, budgeting, risks, and resources.
• Present technology or project updates to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate in person with peers to build mechanical/automation design skills.
• Assist with equipment assembly; apply statistics to engineering data to identify trends.
