Job summary

Catalyx is seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and maintain process automation systems in manufacturing facilities. The role acts as the primary technical resource for customers, ensuring uptime and optimal performance of automation equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues across electrical, mechanical, and software domains, performing preventive maintenance, and training staff on operations. Travel and safety compliance are also required.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting industrial automation systems within manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, controls, and software issues on automated equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Document service activities, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and customer teams to ensure project success.
