Job summary

Catalyx is seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer to support and maintain process automation systems in manufacturing facilities. You will be the primary technical resource for customers, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime while delivering exceptional support.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and networking, plus collaboration with engineering and project teams to drive reliable operations and customer satisfaction across regional

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
3+ years of experience supporting industrial automation systems within manufacturing environments.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs; knowledge of HMI/SCADA platforms.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, controls, and software issues on automated manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
Support process optimization initiatives to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and efficiency.
Conduct system upgrades, retrofits, and software modifications as required.
Train operators, maintenance personnel, and customer staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and customer teams to ensure successful project execution.
