We are seeking an Industrial Automation Engineer to join our IT Product team supporting manufacturing globally. You’ll work with local manufacturing shop floor leaders to connect equipment on Panduit’s Converged Plantwide Ethernet (CPwE) networks. Once connected and operational, you’ll connect our standard communication application (Kepware) and configure various manufacturing applications (i.e. MES Hydra).

What You Will Do

  • Connect new, existing and retiring equipment on the shop floor to the CPwE network and Kepware.
  • Configure MES Hydra application for each machine (machine/order data collection, recipe loading/management, process data collection/data historian & OEE/OOE/TEEP reporting).
  • Design CPwE networks as locations expand and new locations are built.
  • Spend 95% of your day on a scrum team in an Agile environment completing “stories” and attending various Agile ceremonies.
  • Support service desk with resolving production support issues.
  • Document knowledge articles and provide guidance to tier-1 and tier-2 support.

What You Will Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience: 2+ year experience with applications and networking, and experience supporting manufacturing teams. Experience with injection molding, extrusion, stamping creating physical, or hardware products for b2b industrial and commercial use preferred.
  • Technical Experience: Experience with Agile Scrum environments, CPwE, MES Hydra, or Kepware a plus.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel: Able to travel 10-20% both domestic and international.

Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $120,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
