Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an Automation and Controls Technician to install, wire, test, and maintain PLC‑based control systems and robotic work cells within our energetic materials manufacturing operations.

You will work under senior engineers to support R&D projects and production programs, with a clear growth path toward greater autonomy in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment in Penrose, CO and nearby sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree preferred OR 1–3 years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic reading of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with safety protocols including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation, wiring, and commissioning of PLC-based control systems across Beckhoff, Beijer, and Wago platforms.
• Build and wire electrical cabinets; perform quality checks on field wiring.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and assist root-cause analysis under supervision.
