Job summary

Bakerly Barn LLC is seeking an Instrument and Controls Technician in Easton, PA to maintain PLC-based process controls, HMIs, and electrical systems in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. You will read electrical schematics and diagnose faults to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Candidates should have at least five years in industrial maintenance, exposure to Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and plant networks; experience with AutoCAD and training others is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
PLC Certification preferred.
At least five years of industrial maintenance experience including electrical/automation controls.
Ability to read electrical drawings and PLC logic; diagnose faults.
Proficient with maintenance software and MS Office to document work.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve PLC-based processes, HMIs, plant data networks, and electrical systems.
Inspect, install, and maintain control devices, sensors, and related equipment; verify calibration.
Read schematics and PLC logic to diagnose faults and confirm safe repairs.
Coordinate automation projects including scope, cost, and timely completion.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and leadership to install and commission equipment.
Support start-ups, changeovers, disruptions, and daily operation; train operators.
