Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Controls Engineer to apply controls and automation expertise in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on maintaining PLC and HMI programs, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and the Process Hazard Analysis, while troubleshooting hardware and software issues and implementing new automation projects.

You will support process safety, information systems, and retrofits to improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS in chemical, biomedical, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• PE license preferred; EIT completion considered.
• 2+ years of instrumentation and controls experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain P&IDs, procedures, and electrical schematics.
• Maintain PLC and HMI programs, databases, and information systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and instrument problems; support retrofits and new automation projects.
• Design and implement strategies to improve process efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure quality assurance on control systems and facility equipment.
