Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an Engineer with controls and automation expertise to solve manufacturing challenges, improve processes, and implement solutions that increase efficiency and reliability.

You will support the Process Safety Management system and maintain control systems across manufacturing operations, troubleshooting issues and driving improvements with hands-on analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical/Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical).
• Experience with instrumentation & controls in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing corrective strategies.
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, RSViewSE, Vantage Point, Historian and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Process Hazard Analysis, P&IDs, procedures and electrical schematics.
• Maintain PLC and HMI programs, databases and information systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and instrument problems.
• Design, test, and implement new processes and retrofits to improve efficiency.
• Maintain control systems QA for manufacturing and facility equipment.
