Job summary

ASC Machine Tools, Inc. is seeking full-time Mechanical Assemblers to assemble, start up and test heavy industrial equipment. Candidates should have a strong mechanical background, be able to read blueprints, and handle lifting up to 50 lbs while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities include following assembly instructions, measuring for quality, and cross-training across departments as needed. Competitive benefits and a bonus program accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow instructions.
• Experience assembling, starting up, and testing products is preferred.
• Millwright, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product according to the blueprint ensuring parts and subassemblies fit properly.
• Ensure parts and products meet quality standards by following established guidelines to measure and inspect.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and service equipment per maintenance plans.
• Cross-train to other departments as needed.
