Consarc Corporation in New Jersey is seeking Industrial Assemblers to join our team in the Rancocas area. If you have 5+ years of industrial assembly or maintenance, we want to hear from you. Earn up to $100,000+ annually, with overtime and a discretionary quarterly incentive bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial assembly or industrial maintenance experience.
• Requires engineering/blueprint reading aptitude.
• Ability to use common hand tools.
• Able to layout, measure, and reference drawings per blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math and measurements including fractions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Assemble and fit parts using hand or power tools.
• Layout and mark dimensions using rulers, squares, and scribes.
• Inspect and test completed units with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
• Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness.
• May take on other tasks as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Basic math skills: subtracting, adding, dividing, along with working with fractions.
• Requires engineering/blueprint reading and interpretation aptitude.
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Trim, file, grind, buff, or smooth surfaces, edges, or joints of assembled pieces using hand or power tools.
• Using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers, layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material in accordance with drawings or blueprints.
• Works from drawings and specifications.
• May inspect and test completed units by utilizing appropriate measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, scales, and gauges.
• To keep the workplace safe for you and other employees.
• May take care of other tasks as they are allocated
• Other duties as assigned
• Vacuum experience (preferred)
