Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial assembly or maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic math skills and measurement accuracy.
• Experience with hand tools and precision finishing.
• Preference for vacuum experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math operations and measure parts.
• Read drawings and follow specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble components.
• Trim, file, grind, and deburr surfaces as required.
• Inspect completed units with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Maintain a safe workplace and adhere to standards.
• May assist with other tasks as assigned.

Consarc Corporation is seeking Industrial Assemblers to join their team in the Rancocas, NJ area.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Basic math skills: subtracting, adding, dividing, along with working with fractions.
• Requires engineering/blueprint reading and interpretation aptitude.
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Trim, file, grind, buff, or smooth surfaces, edges, or joints of assembled pieces using hand or power tools.
• Using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers, layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material in accordance with drawings or blueprints.
• Works from drawings and specifications.
• May inspect and test completed units by utilizing appropriate measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, scales, and gauges.
• To keep the workplace safe for you and other employees.
• May take care of other tasks as they are allocated
• Other duties as assigned
• Vacuum experience (preferred)
