Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Assembler for a permanent, onsite role in Shippensburg, PA. Candidates will assemble mechanical components and subassemblies for vehicles and equipment, using hand and power tools, guided by blueprints and specs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, hoses, wiring, and hydraulic systems using hand and power tools
• Install accessories and additional equipment according to specifications
• Read blueprints, schematics, and measurements to accurately position and install components
• Drill, cut, grind, and modify parts as needed using various shop tools and equipment
• Follow written and verbal work instructions to complete assemblies
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Move and stack assembled components weighing up to 35 pounds
• Cross-train in multiple production areas to support manufacturing needs

Job Title: Industrial Assembler

Pay: $17.00 or $21.40/hour (based on experience)

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday (4:00 PM - 2:00 AM)

Job Overview

This position is responsible for assembling mechanical components and subassemblies for specialty vehicles and construction equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and performing assembly work in a production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, hoses, wiring, and hydraulic systems using hand and power tools
• Install accessories and additional equipment according to specifications
• Read blueprints, schematics, and measurements to accurately position and install components
• Drill, cut, grind, and modify parts as needed using various shop tools and equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $44512.00/yr.
