Job summary

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks an Architectural Staff - Industrial to lead project design in Minneapolis, MN. You will oversee developing architectural construction documents, coordinate with consultants, and guide internal teams through all design phases and documentation.

Qualifications include a architecture degree and 6+ years in professional practice, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, and collaboration tools like Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating architectural construction documents; prior documentation of varied project types.
• Experience in construction administration including RFI/submittal review, field reports, and close-out procedures.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and coordination of contract deliverables including field surveys, design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications.
• Collaborate with internal design staff to integrate design into contract documents and specs.
• Coordinate project deliverables with external consultants and project partners.
• Generate code research and feasibility studies, coordinating with AHJ representatives as needed.
• Provide administrative support for project teams (agendas, logs, permits, RFIs, submittals).
• Adhere to MG2 templates and graphic standards; guide staff on design standards.
• Assist with generating accurate project specifications aligned with scope and contract deliverables.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews of all deliverables.
• Coordinate external submittals to AHJs and site-specific processes.
• Participate in construction administration including site visits and field reports.
• Produce accurate work aligned with project schedules and budgets.
