Job summary

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking an Architectural Staff (Level 3) in Minneapolis, MN. This role leads contract deliverables, coordinates design intent, and mentors staff across design phases while collaborating with senior architects on complex solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in architecture, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and a thorough understanding of construction documentation, codes, and permitting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated expertise utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of the architectural design and documentation process, including code compliance, accessibility, and constructability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production and coordination of contract deliverables including design drawings and construction documents.
• Oversee integration of design into contract documentation and maintain design intent across all phases.
• Generate code research and feasibility studies with AHJ coordination and lead pre-submittal or design review meetings.
• Contribute to project reporting, logs, and financial reports throughout design and construction.
• Oversee QA/QC for project documentation and act as primary plans reviewer with project teams.
